General Information

Couples may apply for a marriage license online, or in-person at the Fort Pierce Main Office or St. Lucie West locations from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The license is valid in any Florida county for a period of 60 days. See  Fees & Costs  for a list of fees and accepted payments.

We are delighted to offer marriage ceremonies in person at both our Main Office in Fort Pierce and the South County Annex in St. Lucie West. Our dedicated staff is committed to making your special day memorable and enjoyable. Each ceremony is priced at $30, in addition to the required marriage license fee, ensuring that your ceremony remains both accessible and affordable.

  • Ceremony Photography – $40.00 (non-refundable). Capture the beauty and joy of your ceremony with our photography package, which includes 15 professionally taken photos sent to you via email. Scheduling is required in advance.    Photos will be delivered within 2 to 3 weeks of the ceremony.

  •  Keepsake Certificate – $10.70 (non-refundable, sales tax included). We also offer a beautifully designed keepsake certificate. This certificate serves as a wonderful memento of your special day.  

  •  Wedding Package- $75.70 (non-refundable, sales tax included), package discount that includes Wedding Ceremony, Photography, and Keepsake Certificate. Scheduling is required in advance. Photos will be delivered within 2 to 3 weeks of the ceremony.

Appointments are not needed for Marriage Ceremonies unless you would like Ceremony Photography services

Recording Manager

Edna has more than 34 years of service with the Clerk's office. As Recording Manager, she oversees the recording of the county’s official records, issuing marriage licenses, conducting marriage ceremonies, and processing U.S. passport applications. Official records include mortgages, deeds, satisfactions, plats, certificates of title, lis pendens, judgments, death certificates, military discharges, and more. Edna previously worked in the Civil and Family Law section of the Brevard County Clerk's office for 2.5 years.
