St. Lucie Clerk and Comptroller offers free shredding for Shred & Protect Day
FORT PIERCE, FLA. (Oct. 5, 2021) St. Lucie County Clerk and Comptroller Michelle R. Miller is hosting a free shredding event, Shred & Protect Day, on November 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., open to all St. Lucie residents.
"Identity theft continues to be a growing concern for all of us, said Clerk Miller. Safe and secure document disposal is one way to minimize the risk of your personal data falling into the wrong hands."
St. Lucie residents may bring up to 3 banker boxes of documents to the South County Courthouse Annex parking lot in St. Lucie West, located at 250 NW Country Club Drive. Deputy Clerks will be available to transport boxes directly from cars to on-site shredding trucks, with no need for participants to exit their vehicles.
