St. Lucie Clerk increases customer service hours Feb. 1
FORT PIERCE, FLA. (Jan. 15, 2021) – St. Lucie County Clerk & Comptroller Michelle Miller is opening her office 10 additional hours a week starting Feb. 1, 2021. The office will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday to help customers access courts services and reduce contact with each other.
The new hours will be provided for court, recording, finance, tax deeds, and value adjustment board services at the office’s three locations.
“We provide many essential services to the public, and it’s vital that we are available when our customers need us,” Miller said. “We hope the new hours allow customers with work or childcare conflicts to better access our services.”
The extra hours also help reduce customer interaction in lobby areas and provide for a safer environment with reduced exposure to COVID-19. To ensure passports or marriage licenses are processed in a timely manner, customers should request those services no later than 4:30 p.m.Â
To provide added convenience and safety for customers, the Clerk’s office also recently opened a drive-thru at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Indian River Drive in downtown Fort Pierce. Customers can make payments, drop off court or recording documents, purchase court packets, and more.
