Traffic tickets must be paid in full, but most criminal court fees can be placed on a payment plan. 

There is a $25 administrative fee to set up a payment plan, which is included in the $100 down payment. Minimum monthly payments are $30.

Customers who enter into a payment plan may opt to receive email and text reminders when their payment is due.

After the payment plan is established, payments can be made online or in person at either the Clerk’s Main Office in downtown Fort Pierce or St. Lucie West Office. Payments may be made in cash, cashier’s check, money order, or by *credit card.

*Please note: payments made by credit card are subject to a transaction fee.

In most traffic cases, the Clerk’s Office can reinstate the driver’s license the same day fines are paid for an additional $60 reinstatement fee.

If a license is suspended for criminal financial obligations, the Clerk’s Office will issue Affidavits to Reinstate, which must be presented to any Florida Tax Collector’s Office within 30 days to complete the reinstatement process.
